Data collected at DSS 25 (occultation 16132i, start time 2002/290- 14:57:00) had a +2 dB ramp in the noise level starting at about one minute after ingress and lasting for one minute. Data collected on day 290 at DSS 65 (occultation 16127i, start time 2002/290-05:09:00) had a +2 dB rise in signal level before telemetry turned off, then +/-0.4 dB random fluctuation in the free-space carrier amplitude over the measurement. Carrier and max SNR levels were also 3 dB lower than expected. This measurement was captured before the scheduled beginning of tracking at DSS 65; the occultation was also collected at DSS 34. All measurements collected on day 291 at DSS 65 (occultations 16140i through 16144i, start times 2002/291-06:39:00 through 14:29:00) had no signal. There was a last minute switch from DSS 65 to DSS 63 because of a transmitter problem, and that information was not communicated to the RSSG. Aseel Anabtawi had submitted a request to the NOPE regarding such changes two weeks earlier, but there had been no action because of personnel changes in the NOPE office. Data collected from DSS 15 (occultation 16144i, start time 2002/291- 14:29:00) had +/-0.1 dB sinusoidal modulation on the carrier amplitude over the measurement (but not before telemetry turned off or after ingress) with a period of about 7 seconds. Although weaker, this resembles modulation we have seen before in DSS 15 data (see HEA2274A.TXT and HEA2276A.TXT). Data collected from occultation 16145i at DSS 15 (start time 2002/291- 16:27:00) had a +0.3 dB ramp in the carrier amplitude over the measurement. Data collected from occultation 16147i at DSS 45 (start time 2002/291- 20:22:00) had two -0.5 dB dips in the carrier amplitude during the measurement. The first occurred about 20 seconds after telemetry turned off and lasted for 20 seconds; the second occurred about 150 seconds before ingress and lasted for about 5 seconds. Data collected from occultation 16148i at DSS 45 (start time 2002/291- 22:20:00) had one -0.5 dB dip in the carrier amplitude over about 5 seconds that occurred about 150 seconds before ingress. There was no signal for occultation 16151i (start time 2002/292-04:13:00) collected by DSS 45. Although this was the last measurement in the pass, it took place before the scheduled end of tracking.
