Data collected from DSS 65 occultation 16287i (start time 2002/303- 07:00:00) had a +1 dB ramp in the free-space carrier amplitude over the entire measurement. The carrier gain and SNR levels were also about 2 dB lower than expected. Carrier and max SNR levels were about 5 dB lower than expected for data from occultation 16290i (start time 2002/303-12:53:00) collected by DSS 65. The last measurement captured by DSS 65, occultation 16291i (start time 2002/303-14:51:00), had carrier and max SNR levels about 1 dB lower than expected with +/-0.3 dB random fluctuations in the carrier amplitude over the measurement. The first measurement collected at DSS 15 (occultation 16291i, start time 2002/303-14:51:00) began 4 minutes before the scheduled beginning of tracking, and did not capture a signal. This occultation was successfully captured at DSS 65, however. Data collected at DSS 15 (occultation 16292i, start time 2002/303- 16:49:00) had +/- 2 dB fluctuation in the free-space carrier amplitude over about 1 minute. The carrier amplitude returned to normal about two minutes before ingress. Data collected at DSS 15 (occultation 16294i, start time 2002/303- 20:44:00) had a -1 dB ramp in the free-space carrier amplitude over the entire measurement. The last measurement collected at DSS 15 (occultation 16295i, start time 2002/303-22:42:00) did not capture ingress as it began two minutes after the scheduled end of tracking. There was a change in noise level during occultation on the following observations: Occultation Start Date/Time DSS Level Change Time ----------- ----------------- --- ------------ -------------- 16284i 2002/303-01:07:00 45 +1 dB step ingress + 30 s 16285e 2002/303-01:51:00 45 +1 dB step egress - 30 s 16288i 2002/303-08:58:00 65 +4 dB ramp ingress + 10 s The following occultations were captured at two different antennas: Occultation Start Date/Time DSS #1 DSS #2 ----------- ----------------- ------ ------ 16205i 2002/296-14:09:00 65 25 16283e 2002/302-21:56:00 25 45 16291i 2002/303-14:51:00 65 15 Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- No new data.
