Modulation continues to be strongest at low elevation angles: Occultation Start Date/Time DSS Amplitude ----------- ----------------- --- --------- 16661i 2002/333-20:38:00 15 +/-0.3 dB 16706i 2002/337-12:54:00 15 +/-0.5 dB 16707i 2002/337-14:52:00 15 +/-0.5 dB 16708i 2002/337-16:50:00 15 +/-0.1 dB 16709i 2002/337-18:47:00 15 +/-0.2 dB 16710i 2002/337-20:45:00 15 +/-1.0 dB The first measurement collected by DSS 14 (occultation 16659i, start time 2002/333-16:43:00) had +/-0.3 dB random fluctuations in the free-space carrier amplitude. This measurement was also successfully collected by DSS 15. The first measurement collected by DSS 63 (occultation 16666i, start time 2002/334-06:27:00) had +/-0.3 dB random fluctuations in the free-space carrier amplitude. The last two measurements captured by DSS 63 using RSR2B, occultations 16668i and 16669i, with start times 2002/334-10:22:00 and 12:20:00, had very small spurs in the power spectrum near about 875Hz and 1250Hz. These spurs were also seen in all 8 of the measurements captured from DSS 63 on DOY 337 (occultations 16702i through 16706i, with start times 2002/337-05:04:00 through 12:54:00). Measurements 16702i through 16705e were also successfully collected by DSS 65. The first two measurements collected by DSS 63 (occultations 16702i and 16703e, start times 2002/337-05:04:00 and 05:48:00) had +/-0.3 dB random fluctuations in the free-space carrier amplitude.
