The RSR data collected by DSS 54 on 2003/011 included in today's health report are out of sequence due to late notification; other data from 2003/011 are included in MGS HEA3013A.TXT. We continue to see +/-0.5 dB fluctuations in the free-space carrier amplitude over the entire interval for all three measurements at DSS 54 (occultations 17180i through 17182i, start times 2003/011-06:40:00 through 10:35:00). This time, the fluctuations appear to have some periodicity. The first measurement (occultation 17180i) has the carrier level increase by ~0.5 dB two minutes after telemetry turns off, and then drops ~0.5 dB about 20 seconds before ingress. The second and third measurements roughly cycle up ~0.5 dB for 1 min and down ~0.5 dB for 20 seconds all the way through ingress. This is now the sixth consecutive pass at DSS 54 with +/-0.5 dB carrier amplitude fluctuations.
