Engineering Data
================

     Due to an unexplained SOPC system reboot, spacecraft engineering and DSN
Monitor data were not received last night.  We are currently collecting the
data and will include them in tomorrow's health report.

     Sun Service replaced the CD reader on our SOPC yesterday.  We were able
to validate a small number of CDs that had previously been rejected.  Later
we cut six copies of an entirely new volume, and had no problems validating
any of them.  This may have solved the incompatability between the CD writer
and CD reader, which had slowed our archiving considerably.

      We have collected only two measurements from DSS 65 on DOY 029 due
to continued problems with querying, cause unknown.  Aseel Anabtawi plans
to contact Data Control sometime today in an attempt to resolve the issue.

Figure Captions
===============

     Figure HEA3030A.PS1:  Allan Deviation versus Sun-Earth-MGS angle over
slightly less than four years of orbital operations.  10614 Allan Deviations
were calculated at 3.2 seconds from X-band ODR data (collected until mid-2001)
and at 4.0 seconds from RSR data (collected since late 2001).  No data were
collected from mid- until late-2001 because there were no radio occultations.
Sun-Earth-MGS angles were obtained from OPTG files.  The plot was constructed
by Joe Twicken at Stanford University for the MGS Radio Science Team.


Figures
=======

     Plot(s) illustrate some of the points made in the text.  Each plot is
a PostScript file, created and printable on our SOPC.  For report text file
HEAydddC.TXT  Figure N will be labeled  HEAydddC.PSN  and sent as the N+1st
e-mail message of a set.  We assume that you can strip off the e-mail headers
and either display or print copies of the figures on a machine in your area.
People who have indicated that they cannot handle these files by e-mail are
not included in the e-mail distribution of figures.
