The firewall obstacle to our accessing the MATLAB License Manager has apparently been overcome. But JPL SA's believe a configuration problem remains, since we still cannot use MATLAB on the SOPC. The spacecraft engineering and RSR data listed below were pushed through by interrupting the respective data pipelines on the SOPC, moving the files to our Stanford analysis machine, carrying out the MATLAB processing there, ftping the files back to the SOPC, and restarting the pipelines. There were several ~5 dB dips in the free-space carrier amplitude over about 20 seconds each for the first measurement collected at DSS 45 on day 030 (occultation 17417i, start time 2003/030-15:32:00). About 30 seconds before ingress, there was a ~3 dB dip in amplitude lasting about 20 seconds. The carrier levels were about 2 dB lower than expected, as well. This measurement was also successfully captured by DSS 15.
