The droop is about 0.5 dB over the first 30-60 s, followed by a recovery over the next few minutes to the original carrier level. Affected were occultations 17682e and 17683e (DSS 65, start times 2003/052-06:06:00 and 08:04:00, respectively). Carrier level and signal-to-noise are about 3 dB below nominal levels in data from occultation 17686i (DSS 45, start time 2003/053-15:09:00). This was the first occultation in the pass, and the degradation probably results from a low elevation anagle.
