The TNF replaces the ATDF/TDF, which is being phased out as antennas are upgraded to the Network Simplification Plan (NSP). Additional TNFs will be included in reports over the next few days as we work on a backlog that began with the two test files here in December 2002. TNFs have file names of the form ydddHssZ.TNF, where 'y' is the least significant digit of the year, 'ddd' is the day-of-year, 'H' is a letter code for the hour at which data collection started (00=A, 01=B, ..., 23=X), 'ss' is the DSN antenna number through which the data were collected, and 'Z' is a letter denoting the sequence in which files were defined (usually 'A', but 'B' if this is the second of two files with the same 'ydddHss', etc.). Each TNF results from a query and is assembled from a series of SFDU's, so there will generally be no 'Original File Name'. The TNF structure is defined in the TRK-2-34 SIS, a text version of which is being included on MGS RS raw data archival volumes. The text version was derived from a Word document. The first measurement had levels 5 dB lower than expected (occultation 18378i, start time 2003/109-04:28:00) and the second measurement had levels 3 dB lower than expected (occultation 18379i, start time 2003/109-06:26:00). There was no signal for all four measurements collected by DSS 54 on day 110 (orbit numbers 18390i through 18393i, start times 2003/110-04:00:00 through 09:53:00). Cause of this anomaly is unknown.
