Engineering Data
================

     The spacecraft Payload Data System (PDS) is apparently corrupting clock
information in the engineering stream.  We noted very limited engineering
data from 2003/124 in yesterday's report (HEA3126A.TXT); today we have none
from 2003/125.  During a telecon this morning it was decided to attempt a
reset of the PDS, which seemed to cure similar problems diagnosed many years
ago during early tests.  Interestingly, operation of the spacecraft and
collection of science data has not been affected; the problem seems to be
limited to engineering data during aggregation and transmission to the
ground.  Production of solar array (SAK) and attitude kernels (TCK) has
ceased, so there may be consequences later as we and others try to
reconstruct observation geometries during this period.
