The first measurement from DSS 14 on day 187 began 15 minutes before the scheduled start of tracking (occultation 19334i, with start time 2003/187-07:40:00). This resulted in ADC input levels up to 10 dB lower than desired, and random fluctuations in the free-space carrier amplitude on the order of 2-5 dB. This measurement was successfully collected by DSS 54, however.
