We will continue to monitor ingress measurements until early February, when HGA interference is predicted to subside. We also continue to see small amplitude fluctuations in the ADC input level over about 1 minute for all egress measurements. This has been attributed to solar panel variation. All three measurements from DSS 34 on day 024 were lost due to a scripting error (occultations 21805e, 21805i, and 21806e, with start times 2004/024-06:30:00 through 2004/024-08:27:00). The first measurement from DSS 55 on day 024 was lost due to a scripting error (occultation 21808e, with start time 2004/024-12:23:00). Only three out of ten measurements from DSS 24 over day 024 and 025 were successfully captured due to support for the MER B landing. The second through fourth measurements were successful (occultations 21813e through 21814e, with start times 2004/024-22:12 through 2004/025-00:10). The remainder, including the first measurement, were lost (occultation 21812i and occultations 21814i through 21817e, with corresponding start times 2004/024-21:42:00 and 2004/025-01:37:00 through 2004/025-06:03:00). The first three out of ten scheduled occultations at DSS 34 on day 025 were lost due to support for the MER B landing (occultations 21815i through 21816i, with start times 2004/025-03:35:00 through 05:33:00). The fourth out of ten scheduled occultations at DSS 34 on day 025 started late and missed egress (occultation 21817e, with start time 2004/025-06:03:00). The last measurement from DSS 55 on day 024 had ADC input and max SNR levels about 26 dB lower than expected; cause unknown (occultation 21813e, with start time 2004/024-22:12:00). This measurement was successfully captured by DSS 24, however. There was a -3 dB dropout over 5 seconds that occurred about 10 seconds after egress for the first measurement from DSS 26 over days 025/026 (occultation 21826e, with start time 2004/025-23:43:00). Several measurements from DSS 54, DSS 55, and DSS 65 continue to exhibit sinusoidal modulation of the ADC input level, with amplitudes varying between +/-0.1 and +/-1.0 dB with periods between ~5 seconds to ~30 seconds, as detailed in the table below.
