His (slightly edited) report: There was a stretch of 11+ days in late May through early June 2005 when occultation data were collected successfully on 144 consecutive orbits without a single gap! Even campaign F back in December 2000 wasn't that good. The data quality was uniformly high and the profiles will be valuable for understanding the dynamics of the northern hemisphere in midautumn, including interannual variability. I'm not sure why MGS was tracked continuously during this interval, though I suspect that MSPA was an important factor. Many thanks to the support team for taking full advantage of this opportunity.
