This will have some consequences on our ability to troubleshoot (see report of ION file problems below). We have attempted to renew the card, but there have been obstacles. The renewal problems appear to be widespread for remote (non-JPL) users with at least one MGS person on the East Coast having been without a working card for several months. We also reported that the carrier level was very low at egress in the occultation 32236e recording at DSS 43 (2006/146-05:26:00). We have found that the station was unable to lock receivers and telemetry when the antenna was in autocollimator mode (DR #105042).
