The first measurement, 10563i, had low signal levels. The station put DSP1 in the link, and the attenuation values were for DSP2, which we normally script for. (DSP2 has been red since yesterday (DOY 199). Actually, DSP1 was also red yesterday , but the station managed to bring it back up just a few minutes before our first measurement). Tim changed the attenuation in the script for the second measurement (10564e) to that for DSP1 before the script ran. When it executed, the script had the correct attenuation value, which we verified in the spc _errlog, but for some reason, it not did change correctly at the DSP. The DSP continued to have the attenuation value for DSP2, so again, the signal levels were low. I asked Tim to manually change the attenuation values again towards the end of the measurement (at 08:05:36), and it did change correctly, and the signal levels were normal. For measurement 10565e, Tim reported that the signal looked strange and the levels were ramping up and unstable. DR# M100077 was opened. It started with problems loading the predicts. Then we started getting critical buffer errors. Then the monitor data went down. The DSP was rebooted, but that didn't fix the problems. I still had trouble distributing the predicts. It took the station a while to admit that we had problems and agree to open a DR. By EOT, it seemed that the DSP was back to normal. You may be able to query for portions of the data, but it would be useless. Regards, Aseel P.S. Do you still want me to copy data@magellan on all data emails, or was this just while you were on travel?
