Hard for me to believe that weather updates would cause all of what we are seeing. But, if NO refractivity changes are being entered, then the performance at lowe elevation angles would not be good -- perhaps even worse than the 5 dB losses we are seeing. If we're expecting 'small' level changes to lead to improved SNR, I would expect the Project to be in favor. Not sure why manual attempts to mimic the performance of an automated system which is apparently not working requires Project input. Seems worth a try, but will defer to Project if they have other concerns. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From joe@neptune.stanford.edu Wed Jan 9 15:53 PST 2002 Received: from neptune.Stanford.EDU (neptune [171.64.90.149]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id PAA28015 for ; Wed, 9 Jan 2002 15:53:11 -0800 (PST) Received: (from joe@localhost) by neptune.Stanford.EDU (8.9.3/8.9.3) id PAA14155; Wed, 9 Jan 2002 15:47:29 -0800 (PST) Message-ID: X-Mailer: XFMail 1.2 [p0] on Solaris X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit MIME-Version: 1.0 In-Reply-To: <200201092328.PAA27674@magellan.stanford.edu> Date: Wed, 09 Jan 2002 15:47:29 -0800 (PST) Sender: joe@neptune.stanford.edu From: Joe Twicken To: joe@nova.stanford.edu, rsimpson@magellan.stanford.edu, hinson@nova.stanford.edu Subject: RE: RSR Notice: /users/z08/procRSR/20092314 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Length: 1088 Status: RO (1) There was no HGA motion compensation for these recordings On 09-Jan-02 Joe Twicken 723-3597 wrote: > 13590252.RSR p 15XR1ERXN101 15XR1EC1XX01 15XR1EF1S101 15XR1ES1T101 > 15XR1ES1T201 15XR1ES1T301 15XR1ES1T401 15XR1ES1T501 > 13590449.RSR p 15XR1ERXN101 15XR1EC1XX01 15XR1EF1S101 15XR1ES1T101 > 15XR1ES1T201 15XR1ES1T301 15XR1ES1T401 15XR1ES1T501 > 13590845.RSR p 43XR1ERXN101 43XR1EC1XX01 43XR1EF1S101 43XR1ES1T101 > 43XR1ES1T201 43XR1ES1T301 43XR1ES1T401 43XR1ES1T501 > 13591043.RSR p 43XR1ERXN101 43XR1EC1XX01 43XR1EF1S101 43XR1ES1T101 > 43XR1ES1T201 43XR1ES1T301 43XR1ES1T401 43XR1ES1T501 > 13591438.RSR p 63XR1ERXN101 63XR1EC1XX01 63XR1EF1S101 63XR1ES1T101 > 63XR1ES1T201 63XR1ES1T301 63XR1ES1T401 63XR1ES1T501 > 13591636.RSR p 63XR1ERXN101 63XR1EC1XX01 63XR1EF1S101 63XR1ES1T101 > 63XR1ES1T201 63XR1ES1T301 63XR1ES1T401 63XR1ES1T501 > 13592031.RSR p 63XR1ERXN101 63XR1EC1XX01 63XR1EF1S101 63XR1ES1T101 > 63XR1ES1T201 63XR1ES1T301 63XR1ES1T401 63XR1ES1T501 > 13592229.RSR p 15XR1ERXN101 15XR1EC1XX01 15XR1EF1S101 15XR1ES1T101 > 15XR1ES1T201 15XR1ES1T301 15XR1ES1T401 15XR1ES1T501 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From joe@nova.stanford.edu Thu Oct 10 21:05:29 2002 Received: from nova.Stanford.EDU (nova [171.64.90.123]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.11.6/8.11.6) with ESMTP id g9B45Ss24158 for ; Thu, 10 Oct 2002 21:05:28 -0700 (PDT) Received: from neptune.Stanford.EDU (neptune.Stanford.EDU [171.64.90.149]) by nova.Stanford.EDU (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id VAA27855; Thu, 10 Oct 2002 21:05:29 -0700 (PDT) Received: from neptune.Stanford.EDU (joe@localhost) by neptune.Stanford.EDU (8.11.6/8.11.6) with ESMTP id g9B45SF16280; Thu, 10 Oct 2002 21:05:28 -0700 (PDT) Message-Id: <200210110405.g9B45SF16280@neptune.Stanford.EDU> X-Authentication-Warning: neptune.Stanford.EDU: joe owned process doing -bs X-Mailer: exmh version 2.5 07/13/2001 with nmh-1.0.4 From: Joe Twicken To: hinson@nova.stanford.edu, joe@nova.stanford.edu, rsimpson@nova.stanford.edu Subject: Re: RSR Notice: /users/z12/procRSR/22831943 In-reply-to: Your message of "Thu, 10 Oct 2002 13:17:14 PDT." <200210102017.g9AKHEt04432@magellan.stanford.edu> References: <200210102017.g9AKHEt04432@magellan.stanford.edu> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Date: Thu, 10 Oct 2002 21:05:28 -0700 Content-Length: 1003 Status: RO (1) Reprocessed with Goddard trajectory >13590252.RSR p 15XR1ERXN102 15XR1EC1XX02 15XR1EF1S102 15XR1ES1T102 15XR1ES1T202 15XR1ES1T302 15XR1ES1T402 15XR1ES1T502 >13590449.RSR p 15XR1ERXN102 15XR1EC1XX02 15XR1EF1S102 15XR1ES1T102 15XR1ES1T202 15XR1ES1T302 15XR1ES1T402 15XR1ES1T502 >13590845.RSR p 43XR1ERXN102 43XR1EC1XX02 43XR1EF1S102 43XR1ES1T102 43XR1ES1T202 43XR1ES1T302 43XR1ES1T402 43XR1ES1T502 >13591043.RSR p 43XR1ERXN102 43XR1EC1XX02 43XR1EF1S102 43XR1ES1T102 43XR1ES1T202 43XR1ES1T302 43XR1ES1T402 43XR1ES1T502 >13591438.RSR p 63XR1ERXN102 63XR1EC1XX02 63XR1EF1S102 63XR1ES1T102 63XR1ES1T202 63XR1ES1T302 63XR1ES1T402 63XR1ES1T502 >13591636.RSR p 63XR1ERXN102 63XR1EC1XX02 63XR1EF1S102 63XR1ES1T102 63XR1ES1T202 63XR1ES1T302 63XR1ES1T402 63XR1ES1T502 >13592031.RSR p 63XR1ERXN102 63XR1EC1XX02 63XR1EF1S102 63XR1ES1T102 63XR1ES1T202 63XR1ES1T302 63XR1ES1T402 63XR1ES1T502 >13592229.RSR p 15XR1ERXN102 15XR1EC1XX02 15XR1EF1S102 15XR1ES1T102 15XR1ES1T202 15XR1ES1T302 15XR1ES1T402 15XR1ES1T502
