Is the spacecraft being tracked by the BVR during these times? If not, could you request it. If the BVR also detects the modulation it would help to isolate the source of the problem. If we can inform the station personel of the problem while it is happening they may be able to track it down. The more recent occurances of the problem, with periods of 30 and 60 seconds should be visible in the power history plots on the RSR. If someone kept an eye on these plots durring the pass they should be able to tell if the modulation is present and then inform the station. Would it be possible to track the spacecraft with multiple antenna? That's it for now. I'll let you know if I think of anythink else. I've only looked at the two plots from 2002/160; but Kerri is right in the description. This is twice the amplitude of the RSR1A modulation we were seeing. It's present on both the carrier and the noise after ingress. Is the spacecraft being tracked by the BVR during these times? If not, could you request it. If the BVR also detects the modulation it would help to isolate the source of the problem. If we can inform the station personel of the problem while it is happening they may be able to track it down. The more recent occurances of the problem, with periods of 30 and 60 seconds should be visible in the power history plots on the RSR. If someone kept an eye on these plots durring the pass they should be able to tell if the modulation is present and then inform the station. Would it be possible to track the spacecraft with multiple antenna? That's it for now. I'll let you know if I think of anythink else.
