How about tonight's DSS-65 pass? >I've already scripted that one at 52, should I change it to 53? In looking over plots for the last week, I'd say the gain was set to a pretty good level. There were a couple DSS 15 occultations where we were getting close to clipping; but DSS 65 and DSS 63 could actually see the output to the A/D boosted a bit (I wouldn't do it, but they are a little lower than average). DSS 25 and DSS 45 look fine. We should start thinking about this now that we're getting away from solar conjunction. But, with the possible exception of DSS 15, I'd probably not make any changes yet. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From aseel@airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov Wed Oct 30 18:28:54 2002 Received: from thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov [137.228.90.10]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.11.6/8.11.6) with SMTP id g9U2Afs12628;
