There are quality issues. Not including the usual dropout near the end of each recording (which we can trim off with Dick's software), there are two jumps (on the order of 10-20 mHz) in the frequency residuals in each of the recordings. For the 17972u recording these occur at approximately 23:50:42 and 23:55:12; for the 17973u recording the approximate times are 01:44:06 and 01:48:54. There are also a number of small carrier dropouts (0.5 dB or so) in each recording. These two recordings will not yield useful Allan deviation measurements. Perhaps we can try this again at DSS 43 at some future time?
