Attached is the GSSR presentation to MGS/ODY. There's an MSPA GSSR test planned on DOY 087 (3/28) over DSS-25 to confirm that the Project can uplink to MGS while GSSR is radiating at high- power, and to validate that GSSR does not affect MGS science data. We were asked to let the Project know whether or not our data are impacted by GSSR. The test is only 2 hours long (1530 to 1730), so there's one ingress measurement planned (18115i from 087/16:37:00 to 087/16:47:00 will also be captured over DSS-43), and for gravity, about 30 minutes of 2-way data are expected. I heard their presentation to the CCB about a month ago. They were going to advise me of dates and times for the test; I guess this is the advisory. Unfortunately, I will probably not be able to review data collected on 3/28 before leaving for two weeks of travel on 3/29. In the past, we have not had good luck acquiring open loop data at DSS 15 while GSSR was operating. But DSS 25 is much farther away, and I think we can be optimistic that there will be no interference.
