Just prior to MGS's pass, they were tracking SIRTF using the same NMC connection engine. At the end of the SIRTF pass, they rebuilt the connection for MGS and assigned one of the DTTs they had just been using for SIRTF to the MGS pass. The DTT should have been reconfigured for MGS, but it appears that it was not for some reason. Not only was the configured S/C ID still set to 79, the receiver configuration and the telemetry format tables were the SIRTF tables. Only one DTT was assigned to support this pass, which is why M-1742, M-2242, and M-2742 do not appear in the monitor data. The uplink subsystem was assigned to your pass and it appears to have been configured correctly for MGS. I don't know if they did any commanding; maybe they were just using it to get tracking data. Obviously, there's nothing that can be done about this configuration error now. In the future, the Ace can check the DTT configuration with the monitor data in real-time and ask the station to reinitialize the DTT if it's configured incorrectly.
