However .. The signal levels were low or there was no signal until the 7th measurement (23581i). I found the following DR: DR# M102547 Duration: 2004 169 07:50 - 2004 169 13:56 (366 minutes) Description: No signal detected (neither from M01O). After initial steps to isolate the problem, symptomsare those of antenna mispointing. Corrective Action: At 0850z DSS-63 is brought up for support from its maintenance period. No TLM loss from 0808z to 0850z (no TLM modulation during this period). At around 1020z DSS-55 is released for troubleshooting after some attempts from TSS for different connections at the IF switch. At 1325z DSS-63 link is terminated due to scheduling requirements for upcoming MEX support. At 1356z DSS-55 is back in operation after maintenance fix. A bird's nest in the encoder gear area (between gear and encoder pinion) seems to have been the cause for an Azimuth mispointing of ~0.240 degrees. I was unaware that DSS-63 was brought up for support, so I did not collect any DSS-63 data.
