Background sequence mm400 has been executing since 12/25 (DOY 360). MGS went into Contingency-Mode operations on DOY 357 (12/22/04) at 11:33:43 SCET UTC (04:33:43 MST). The cause is still under investigation. The C-Mode recovery procedure has been executed is now operating normal with all science instruments on. All subsystems and science teams report nominal operations. The mm400 sequence executed successfully from 04-360 (12/25/04) till now. Sequence mm401 is has been uplinked and is will execute 365/00:00:00 (12/29/04) Other No Targeting Observations were performed this last week. Spacecraft Health:. MGS health is good. All subsystems and science teams report nominal operations. Uplinks: There were 90 uplinks to the spacecraft during the past week. They included C-Mode recovery commands, ephemeredes, and background sequences MM400 and MM401. Before that, there was either no signal or a low signal.
