According to Maria Schellpfeffer, "Last Thursday, MGS came out of occultation reporting that there were error counts on the SAM solar array position, and that it had swapped to SAM side B and also to BUS A. It tracked nominally for a partial orbit until our DSN track ended. When we came out of the next occultation, we could not pick up a signal from MGS. That was the state until yesterday evening when we were able to lock on a carrier signal that we think was MGS for 4-5 orbits. But since then, we have not been able to find a signal again." All the scheduled occultations since my last note were recorded, but most likely contain no data. I think we have something through the ingress at 307/12:36; but it strikes me as wishful thinking to claim a signal after that. But perhaps that is useful since we captured the subsequent egress and do not see a signal (or on the next orbit either). If you haven't done so already, you might remind the Project to use our times rather than the orbit numbers, which may differ slightly from the official values.
