  Three, but I only caught the ones at 7 AM and noon.  The search
  committee is continuing the campaign, but I think it's over.  They
  are talking about repeating commands, issuing "hardware" as
  opposed to "software" commands (I don't know the difference),
  compound failures, ...  I'm starting to hear fatigue in their voices.
  Thorpe continues to be an infrequent, but very moderate, voice
  through all this.

  They were prepared to surrender the 70-m antennas; but there's a
  scheduling quirk of some sort that actually allows them to continue
  using the big dishes until Wednesday.

  In answer to Len's questions of Monday, I think this is now "the
  end of an era" and we might as well start planning the close out
  of our MGS operations.  The contractual details will follow, but
  we have some work to do - including transferring some of the
  operations/access to MEX/VEX, bringing up the new SOPC (which, in
  a wonderful coincidence, arrived today), cleaning up and
  completing the archive, actually getting the new MGS contract
  into place, etc.

  For what it's worth, our DSS 55 ingress occultation at 2006/307-
  12:35:51 may be the last guaranteed photons from the spacecraft.
  Although there continues to be talk about signal detections on
  3-4 orbits three days later, there has been less discussion of
  them as evidence mounts for inteference from MEX on the same
  frequencies.

We have commanded the Bus-B swap using a software command and commanded
the "go CMode" today.  No signal was seen.
We are preparing an HGA re-assert state set of commands to radiate later
today.  These commands will re-assert rates and the target at which the
HGA should be positioned for CMode.  Overnight commanding will consist
of Telecom commands.  The exact commands are TBD at this time.

Other commanding on the table for discussion tomorrow consists of 1)
Changing the CMode SCP target along with an LGT1 select, 2) re-assert
