MEX took an image of MGS on Saturday (12/9) - the image came down on Sunday (12/10). Awaiting results..... 2. Tentative - MRO may use the star tracker to "look" for MGS in the near future. UPDATE = this has been approved and the attempt will be tomorrow (Wed) am. 3. DSN coverage is sporadic and we will continue to use all assigned coverage to "look" for signals in both the Ch 20 and 16 frequencies. 4. Maria has created a Docushare folder to collect and share information for the MGS anomaly . It is located at the following: https://alpha-lib.jpl.nasa.gov/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-52553 - Maria will send out more info/details on this folder in the near future. ** Commanding: 1. Increment the CMode Sun-Com-Pwr (SCP) targets by 45 degrees. - in progress - scheduled completion for this Saturday (12/16) UPDATE = 2nd part completed last night over Madrid. 3rd part scheduled for Wed morning, 4th on Thur and return to original pos'n on Friday of this week. 2. Increment the SMode SCP targets by 45 degrees - STL complete, reviews in progress - Command Conference after Thursday's (12/14) Plans and Status. 3. Hardware Commands to reboot SCPs - built - Command Conference next week with scheduled radiation to follow item #2. ** Action Items: 1. Locate ISA on BUS swap that occurred over a year ago. (Kyle/SCT) - Completed - placed in docushare folder 2. Complete timeline (FastTrack schedule) showing commanding. (Kyle/SCT) - In progress 3. Locate block diagrams for spacecraft and telecom in particular. (Kyle/SCT) - In progress 4. Locate LG antenna pattern. (Kyle/Telecom) - Completed - placed in docushare folder 5. Identify server or common area to maintain spacecraft information not only for the flight team, but others interested in looking into the anomaly. (Maria) - Completed 6. Update fault tree. (Maria/Kyle/SCT) - In progress 7. Look into cable anomaly on SAM side that could cause sun sensor on SAM to "short/stick" in a high state. (Kyle/SCT) - In progress - STL test - Code logic on selecting sun sensor heads & declaring a head bad. ** Thanks. - Kyle Kyle Martin Lockheed Martin Space Exploration Systems Mission Operations - Systems/RTO Team Chief 303-977-6871 work 720-521-7535 pager 303-977-7515 fax Kyle.w.martin@lmco.com
