As of today, the SCP reset commands have been radiated 141 times over the past 32 days. It has been 77 days since we last seen telemetry. In that timeframe, a total of 1,301 command files were radiated in the recovery effort. Several items of note: 1. Thermal continues to run a simulation to evaluate in detail the temperatures that could have resulted from accurately modeling the Sun-Stuck-Gimbal / Sun-Com-Pwr attitudes & durations over the first 6 orbits once the spacecraft telemetry was lost. 2. An STL run was performed for 72 hours that simulated the failure scenario and match up the timing of our estimated CMode entry on the spacecraft. Nothing new came form this, although information was obtained that provided accurate inputs for power and thermal simulations (i.e., what were the loads on the spacecraft - heaters, etc). 3. An STL run will be performed starting at the CMode entry and continue for 24 hours. The gravity model will be used to investigate propellant usage. 4. The MEX images on 12/9 and 12/21 did not "see" MGS. The next opportunity will be May 5. 5. MRO continues to "look" for MGS every 40 hours with sequenced commands. As of today, nothing seen in the star tracker has been MGS. 6. Work continues on documenting all aspects of the MGS anomaly. 7. Review boards at various levels and various entities expected soon.
