On days 104 and 105 he continues to see 5 Hz spurs on either side of the carrier. In a few instances (e.g., 1999/105-10:57:00 and 16:50:00) he also finds spurs at +/-2.5 Hz. Data starting 1999/126-18:49:00 contain noise only. Cause is unknown. Data beginning at 1999/127-04:40:05 were 02:05 late compared with the scheduled start time. Reason is unknown. Most occultations above show no obvious surface echoes. The occultation at 1999/127-04:40:05 includes a VERY strong echo, however. The first few occultations in the list above (through 1999/126-14:00:00) show the "structure" superimposed on carrier amplitude noted in yesterday's report (HEA9126A.TXT). But the rest do not, suggesting this is an artifact connected with limits of HGA azimuth gimbal motion. Carrier (+/-1 dB) and noise (+/-2.5 dB) baselines wander in data beginning 1999/126-20:09:00. Cause is unknown.
