We completed the D1.0 Upgrade procedure on the SOPC over the weekend. The machine is up, but not all functionality has been recovered. In particular, we are unable to send e-mail and unable to communicate with JPL query servers. Some of our label-making and renaming scripts are also failing. As a result, the report below covers primarily data collected through mid-afternoon on Saturday (local time). We have notified Bryan Allen of the outstanding problems and he has Engineering Data ================ Engineering Data Statistical Summary from CSV2STAT: First SCET: 1999-06-17T00:00:04.213 Last SCET: 1999-06-17T23:59:56.203 CHANNL CHANNEL TITLE DN-LO DN-HI EU-LO EU-HI EU-AVG/STDEV RECDS ------ ------------- ----- ----- --------- --------- ---------/-------- ----- F-0190 HGA_AZ_ANG 4223 4256 1.03E+00 1.04E+00 1.04E+00/3.19E-05 2698 F-0195 HGA_EL_ANG -10947 10948 -2.67E+00 2.67E+00 4.25E-02/3.11E-02 2698 L-0034 MOT1_RANGING 0 0 5400 L-0036 MOT1_TLM_MOD 0 0 5400 L-0037 MOT1_USO_ENA 0 0 5400 L-0044 MOT2_RANGING 1 1 5400 L-0046 MOT2_TLM_MOD 0 1 5400 L-0047 MOT2_USO_ENA 1 1 5400 L-0053 RF_SW_OSC 2 2 5400 L-0060 TWTA1_FILMNT 0 0 5400 L-0061 TWTA1_HV 0 0 5400 L-0070 TWTA2_FILMNT 1 1 5400 L-0071 TWTA2_HV 0 1 5400 L-0080 USO_PWR 0 0 5400 L-0090 KaBLE_STAT 1 1 5400 L-0091 KaBLE_ENABLE 0 0 5400 L-0111 MOT1_RCV_AGC 255 255 -1.53E+02 -1.53E+02 -1.53E+02/8.20E-07 5400 L-0121 MOT2_RCV_AGC 134 255 -1.53E+02 -1.17E+02 -1.43E+02/1.96E-01 5400 L-0131 TWTA1_HLX_I 0 1 -3.84E-02 -1.85E-02 -3.83E-02/1.32E-05 5400 L-0132 TWTA1_ANOD_V 0 1 -1.00E+03 -1.00E+03 -1.00E+03/7.80E-03 675 L-0141 TWTA2_HLX_I 17 42 2.86E-01 7.85E-01 5.14E-01/2.76E-03 5400 L-0142 TWTA2_ANOD_V 60 235 -8.68E+02 -5.18E+02 -6.69E+02/6.30E+00 675 L-0200 USO_REG_V 203 205 4.06E+00 4.10E+00 4.08E+00/2.27E-04 675 L-0201 USO_OVEN_V 129 131 2.58E+00 2.62E+00 2.60E+00/2.09E-04 675 T-0302 EPC1_T 154 211 -1.20E+01 1.30E+01 1.77E-01/3.21E-01 675 T-0303 EPC2_T 142 197 -4.65E+00 1.81E+01 5.98E+00/2.92E-01 675 T-0310 RF_ISOLTR1_T 208 235 -8.77E+00 1.61E+01 4.75E+00/1.08E-01 5400 T-0311 RF_ISOLTR2_T 200 238 -1.32E+01 2.03E+01 3.81E+00/1.48E-01 5400 T-0312 TWT1_T 205 233 -6.05E+00 1.78E+01 6.47E+00/2.94E-01 675 T-0313 TWT2_T 193 237 -1.17E+01 2.34E+01 5.61E+00/4.71E-01 675 T-0315 USO_T 135 139 2.20E+01 2.32E+01 2.27E+01/7.73E-03 675 T-0316 KA_AMP_T 180 212 1.37E+01 2.82E+01 2.11E+01/1.70E-01 675 L-0200, L-0201, and T-0315 are nominal. Data beginning 1999/169-23:48:00 were stopped at 23:52:30, then restarted at 23:52:47 (note the two entries in the table above). This has been described as an "operator error", but the details are not known. Joe Twicken has been examining some two-way data collected during an interval when there was an unexplained telemetry dropout. These data have not passed through our normal processing. Joe has discovered that there is a phase discontinuity in the carrier signal at the time of the telemetry dropout; there is no detectable change in carrier amplitude, however. Joe's report: I have plotted the difference between successive estimates of the unwrapped carrier phase (scaled by the 3.2 msec sampling interval) vs. time of day for 1999/134. The plots shows 5 seconds of data from 10:14:50 to 10:14:55. Trish had told me that there was a telemetry ] gap at 10:14:52 on that day. As far as I can tell, the carrier phase discontinuity is centered at 10:14:52.642 with a duration of approximately 20 msec. Joe's plot of the phase discontinuity is appended to this report as Figure HEA9172A.PS1 Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- We have obtained the following file from OSCAR: Original File Name Name on SOPC -------------------------------- ------------ ODF: 991680169_10S.SJO;1 9168169A.ODF Anomalies --------- The following were collected from EPIC but could not be labeled: Original File Name Name on SOPC -------------------------------- ------------ EOP: 990618-eop.long 990618-eop.short Ancillary Data ============== Data Collection --------------- We have obtained the following files from the FIS: Original File Name Name on SOPC -------------------------------- ------------ AMD: amdgen.99-169.out 9167168A.AMD amdgen.99-170.out 9168169A.AMD amdgen.99-171.out 9169170A.AMD Anomalies --------- The following files were collected from FIS and the NAIF server but could not be Original File Name Name on SOPC -------------------------------- ------------ AGK: mgs_hga_ck_1999-06-17.bc mgs_hga_ck_1999-06-18.bc mgs_hga_ck_1999-06-19.bc SAK: mgs_solar_array_1999_167.ck mgs_solar_array_1999_168.ck mgs_solar_array_1999_169.ck TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_1999_167.ck mgs_spice_c_kernel_1999_168.ck mgs_spice_c_kernel_1999_169.ck Figure Caption ============== HEA9172A.PS1: Unwrapper carrier phase difference as a function of time. Each plot is a PostScript file, created and printable on our SOPC. For report text file HEAydddC.TXT Figure N will be labeled HEAydddC.PSN and sent as the N+1st e-mail message of a set. We assume that you can strip off the e-mail headers and either display or print copies of the figures on a machine in your area. People who have indicated that they cannot handle these files by e-mail are not included in the e-mail distribution of figures.
