Data from the preceding occultation (start time 1999/355T02:37:00) have not been found; we presume the cause to be the same, but that has not been confirmed. Six occultations at DSS 65 having start times between 1999/355T14:23:00 and 1999/355T18:47:00 were lost because the DSP was down. There were POCA problems in the previous pass (start times 1999/354T12:54:00 through 1999/354T15:19:00 in list above) and no signal was captured. Power spectra in data from DSS 15 (above) suggest presence of spurs at about +/-100 Hz from the carrier. The spurs are very weak in 60-sec average spectral, but occasionally visible. Strong surface echoes can be seen in egress data starting at 1999/354T23:10:00 and 1999/355T01:08:00.
