A summary of these data is included under Open Loop Data below. The problem in querying appears to be another instance of data working their way through most or all of the GDS, but never getting into the catalog used by the query servers. Miscellaneous ============= There was no tracking of MGS between DSS 15 passes ending approximately 2000/339-16:45:00 and beginning 2000/340-11:00:00. Aseel Anabtawi reports on diagnosis and repair of DSP problems at SPC 40 (with minor edits): The station reported this afternoon that both DSPs were green. There was no MGS pass today, but we tested DSP1 by loading predicts and running the DSP. We did not get any POCA errors. The station was testing DSP2, and it seemed to be running OK. Sal spoke to the station and they explained the problems we've been having with the DSPs. DSP1 had a bad lark disk in the SPA-R. A lark disk has a removable and a fixed part. The removable part is around 13 MBytes. It contains the program for the SPA-R. It also contains the predicts. When we load the predicts, they go to the removable part. When we archive them, they go to the fixed part. The LMC and CMC also have lark assemblies. A new disk was installed, but still had problems. The station then replaced the disk with the one from DSP2, and it worked OK. A new disk was installed in DSP2. DSP2 had a bad synthesizer in the RIV. It's been replaced. Aseel also reports that the RSSG SOPC mmrs has successfully completed the upgrade to E1/E2.
