During January, MGS was doing multiple spacecraft per aperture with MPL for many of the passes. Beta supplement causes a lot of problems with ranging points. That may be more the cause of the problem, than any performance degradation in the link. What happens is, when the SRA is reset for the second little uplink segment of a given beta supplement orbit, it kills all the ranging data from the first segment that is still coming down. So we wind up getting very few points that are any good, and almost all of those will be from the latter downlink segment in each orbit.
