DSS 25 remained tracking MGS past their usual end of track. I was only able to catch a few minutes of the ingress at DSS 25 (042/03:42:00 to 03:44:16). I later learned that DSS45 had had predicts problems. I learned this after no signal appeared in 042/05:34:00. We also had trouble with our predict set, and the ftp to SPC 40 was down, so I couldn't create a new set and send it out. We used station predicts for 042/05:34, but we unknowingly used the bad set. All has been corrected for 4152i at 042/07:32 hopefully. -Trish -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From ppriest@airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov Fri Feb 11 02:25 PST 2000 Received: from thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov [137.228.90.10]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id CAA09989; The attenuation during the first occultation at DSS 43 was too high, but I didn't want to corrupt the data with attenuation changes. We haven't had DSS 43 in a very long time, so we had not calibrated the attenuation level. The other measurements should have better attenuation levels. I'm checking on the other anomalies. -Trish -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From joe@neptune.stanford.edu Tue Feb 29 16:20 PST 2000 Received: from nova.Stanford.EDU (nova [171.64.90.123]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id QAA02754 for ; Tue, 29 Feb 2000 16:20:20 -0800 (PST) Received: from neptune.Stanford.EDU (neptune.Stanford.EDU [171.64.90.149]) by nova.Stanford.EDU (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id QAA00333; Tue, 29 Feb 2000 16:21:20 -0800 (PST) Received: (from joe@localhost) by neptune.Stanford.EDU (8.9.3/8.9.3) id QAA04358; Tue, 29 Feb 2000 16:18:37 -0800 (PST) Message-ID: X-Mailer: XFMail 1.2 [p0] on Solaris X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit MIME-Version: 1.0 In-Reply-To: <200002292257.OAA28694@magellan.stanford.edu> Date: Tue, 29 Feb 2000 16:18:37 -0800 (PST) Sender: joe@neptune.stanford.edu From: Joe Twicken To: hinson@nova.stanford.edu, rsimpson@nova.stanford.edu, joe@nova.stanford.edu Subject: RE: ODR Notice: /users/z19/procODR/00602230 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Length: 1413 (1) There are small frequency spurs at +/- 120 Hz in the recordings at DSS 15 (2) There was no HGA motion compensation for these recordings On 29-Feb-00 Joe Twicken 723-3597 wrote: > 00420139.ODR p 25XRXIR1R201 25XRXIC1XX01 25XR1IF1S101 25XR1IS1T101 > 25XR1IS1T201 25XR1IS1T301 25XR1IS1T401 25XR1IS1T501 > 00420732.ODR p 45XRXIR1R201 45XRXIC1XX01 45XR1IF1S101 45XR1IS1T101 > 45XR1IS1T201 45XR1IS1T301 45XR1IS1T401 45XR1IS1T501 > 00420930.ODR p 45XRXIR1R201 45XRXIC1XX01 45XR1IF1S101 45XR1IS1T101 > 45XR1IS1T201 45XR1IS1T301 45XR1IS1T401 45XR1IS1T501 > 00421325.ODR p 54XRXIR1R201 54XRXIC1XX01 54XR1IF1S101 54XR1IS1T101 > 54XR1IS1T201 54XR1IS1T301 54XR1IS1T401 54XR1IS1T501 > 00421522.ODR p 54XRXIR1R201 54XRXIC1XX01 54XR1IF1S101 54XR1IS1T101 > 54XR1IS1T201 54XR1IS1T301 54XR1IS1T401 54XR1IS1T501 > 00421720.ODR p 54XRXIR1R201 54XRXIC1XX01 54XR1IF1S101 54XR1IS1T101 > 54XR1IS1T201 54XR1IS1T301 54XR1IS1T401 54XR1IS1T501 > 00421918.ODR p 54XRXIR1R201 54XRXIC1XX01 54XR1IF1S101 54XR1IS1T101 > 54XR1IS1T201 54XR1IS1T301 54XR1IS1T401 54XR1IS1T501 > 0042191I.ODR p 15XRXIR1R201 15XRXIC1XX01 15XR1IF1S101 15XR1IS1T101 > 15XR1IS1T201 15XR1IS1T301 15XR1IS1T401 15XR1IS1T501 > 00422115.ODR p 15XRXIR1R201 15XRXIC1XX01 15XR1IF1S101 15XR1IS1T101 > 15XR1IS1T201 15XR1IS1T301 15XR1IS1T401 15XR1IS1T501 > 00422313.ODR p 15XRXIR1R201 15XRXIC1XX01 15XR1IF1S101 15XR1IS1T101 > 15XR1IS1T201 15XR1IS1T301 15XR1IS1T401 15XR1IS1T501 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From trish@rodan.jpl.nasa.gov Fri Mar 10 16:18 PST 2000 Received: from godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.120]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id QAA01567 for ; Fri, 10 Mar 2000 16:18:51 -0800 (PST) Received: from 137.78.177.117 (trish-mac.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.117]) by godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id QAA27125; Fri, 10 Mar 2000 16:19:56 -0800 (PST) Message-Id: <200003110019.QAA27125@godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov> Date: 10 Mar 00 16:21:24 -0800 From: Trish Priest Subject: DOY 040-060 Doppler Data Notes To: Georges Balmino , Pat Esposito , Alexander Konopliv , Frank Lemoine , Bill Sjogren , David Smith , "Dah-Ning Yuan" , Maria Zuber CC: Richard Simpson , Len Tyler X-Mailer: QuickMail Pro 1.5.4 (Mac) X-Priority: 3 Reply-To: Trish Priest MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-Ascii" Content-Length: 1703 Status: RO Hello, Below are some excerpts from the DSN daily logs.
