The first three were lost. The first one (064/08:56:00) because the predicts did not load. During the second one (064/10:54:00), the DSP was experiencing QSIA and POCA errors. For the third one, the DSP did not go into run. Predicts were loaded, though. I got everything under control for the fourth one (064/14:49:00), but we started recording about 25 seconds late. The last two should be fine. The station was also having problems with their equipment, so there will be telemetry and Doppler losses during this pass as well. Not a good way to start the weekend. Sorry. As I was about to write that DSS 25 was going well, it just gave me a POCA error. Hopefully that will be the only one. Also, DSS 25 reported that they are using the HEMT low noise amplifier rather than the maser. -Trish -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From ppriest@airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov Sat Mar 4 17:10 PST 2000 Received: from thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov [137.228.90.10]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id RAA20073; Sat, 4 Mar 2000 17:10:04 -0800 (PST) Received: by thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov; id RAB26094; Sat, 4 Mar 2000 17:11:06 -0800 Received: from airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov(137.228.96.12) by thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov via smap (V4.2) id xma025421; Sat, 4 Mar 00 17:10:12 -0800 Received: from mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov [137.228.136.10]) by airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3+Sun/8.9.3) with ESMTP id RAA28123; Sat, 4 Mar 2000 17:10:11 -0800 (PST) Received: (from ppriest@localhost) by mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (8.8.8+Sun/8.8.8) id BAA11003; Sun, 5 Mar 2000 01:10:11 GMT Date: Sun, 5 Mar 2000 01:10:11 GMT From: Patricia Priest Message-Id: <200003050110.BAA11003@mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov> DSS: 25 Apparently-To: Apparently-To: Content-Type: text Content-Length: 271 Status: R Orbit: 4428i SOE: mm018a.07.tsoe Begin Record: 064/20:42:00 End Record: 064/20:51:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: Orbit: 4429i SOE: mm018a.07.tsoe Begin Record: 064/22:40:00 End Record: 064/22:48:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From trish@rodan.jpl.nasa.gov Fri Mar 10 16:46 PST 2000 Received: from godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.120]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id QAA03713 for ; Fri, 10 Mar 2000 16:46:16 -0800 (PST) Received: from 137.78.177.117 (trish-mac.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.117]) by godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id QAA27711; Fri, 10 Mar 2000 16:47:18 -0800 (PST) Message-Id: <200003110047.QAA27711@godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov> Date: 10 Mar 00 16:48:46 -0800 From: Trish Priest Subject: DOY 060 to 070 Doppler Data Notes To: Georges Balmino , Alexander Konopliv , Frank Lemoine , Bill Sjogren , David Smith , "Dah-Ning Yuan" , Maria Zuber CC: Richard Simpson , Len Tyler X-Mailer: QuickMail Pro 1.5.4 (Mac) X-Priority: 3 Reply-To: Trish Priest MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-Ascii" Content-Length: 934 Status: RO Hello, Below are notes from the DSN Daily logs regarding MGS Doppler data, TLM, and the closed-loop receiver.
