Cassini has an HGA antenna boresight calibration on DOY 109 and 111, so MGS will not have the DSS for the SPC 10 passes on those two days. Galileo has the DSP on DOY 112 at SPC 60. The MGS pass was fairly short. Also, Galileo's solar conjunction period extends between April 21 and May 21, 2000. One of the German investigators (Rainer) will be at JPL, and Galileo will be sharing the DSP with MGS for that period. The GLL measurements should not impact MGS occultations very much. With a few exceptions, GLL will use the DSP either immediately before or after the MGS passes. At SPC 40, we will be utilizing both DSPs. This will be a bit more operationally intensive than usual. -Trish -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From ppriest@airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov Thu Apr 20 10:05 PDT 2000 Received: from thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov [137.228.90.10]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id KAA24123; Thu, 20 Apr 2000 10:05:41 -0700 (PDT) Received: by thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov; id KAA19740; Thu, 20 Apr 2000 10:05:19 -0700 Received: from airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov(137.228.96.12) by thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov via smap (V4.2) id xma019650; Thu, 20 Apr 00 10:05:16 -0700 Received: from mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov [137.228.136.10]) by airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3+Sun/8.9.3) with ESMTP id KAA04928; Thu, 20 Apr 2000 10:05:14 -0700 (PDT) Received: (from ppriest@localhost) by mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (8.8.8+Sun/8.8.8) id RAA12059; Thu, 20 Apr 2000 17:05:14 GMT Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2000 17:05:14 GMT From: Patricia Priest Message-Id: <200004201705.RAA12059@mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov> DSS: 65 Apparently-To: Apparently-To: Content-Type: text Content-Length: 404 Status: R Orbit: 4999i SOE: mm032a.06.tsoe Begin Record: 111/12:23:00 End Record: 111/12:30:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: Orbit: 5000i SOE: mm032a.06.tsoe Begin Record: 111/14:20:00 End Record: 111/14:28:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: Orbit: 5001i SOE: mm032a.06.tsoe Begin Record: 111/16:18:00 End Record: 111/16:25:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From ppriest@airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov Thu Apr 20 12:31 PDT 2000 Received: from thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov [137.228.90.10]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id MAA11534; Thu, 20 Apr 2000 12:31:13 -0700 (PDT) Received: by thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov; id MAA07847; Thu, 20 Apr 2000 12:30:52 -0700 Received: from airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov(137.228.96.12) by thorn.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov via smap (V4.2) id xma007632; Thu, 20 Apr 00 12:30:37 -0700 Received: from mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov [137.228.136.10]) by airmail.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3+Sun/8.9.3) with ESMTP id MAA07741; Thu, 20 Apr 2000 12:30:36 -0700 (PDT) Received: (from ppriest@localhost) by mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov (8.8.8+Sun/8.8.8) id TAA12283; Thu, 20 Apr 2000 19:30:36 GMT Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2000 19:30:36 GMT From: Patricia Priest Message-Id: <200004201930.TAA12283@mmrs.fltops.jpl.nasa.gov> DSS: 25 Apparently-To: Apparently-To: Content-Type: text Content-Length: 694 Status: R Orbit: 4990i SOE: mm031b.01.tsoe Begin Record: 110/18:43:00 End Record: 110/18:51:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: Orbit: 4991i SOE: mm031b.01.tsoe Begin Record: 110/20:41:00 End Record: 110/20:48:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: Orbit: 4992i SOE: mm031b.01.tsoe Begin Record: 110/22:39:00 End Record: 110/22:46:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: Orbit: 4993i SOE: mm032a.06.tsoe Begin Record: 111/00:36:00 End Record: 111/00:44:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: Orbit: 4994i SOE: mm032a.06.tsoe Begin Record: 111/02:34:00 End Record: 111/02:42:00 Last Attenuation Change: SNT: Elevation Angle: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From trish@rodan.jpl.nasa.gov Mon Apr 24 12:07 PDT 2000 Received: from godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.120]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id MAA02378 for ; Mon, 24 Apr 2000 12:07:45 -0700 (PDT) Received: from 137.78.177.117 (trish-mac.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.117]) by godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id MAA17356 for ; Mon, 24 Apr 2000 12:07:45 -0700 (PDT) Message-Id: <200004241907.MAA17356@godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov> Date: 24 Apr 00 12:10:10 -0700 From: Trish Priest Subject: RE: 2000/111 at DSS 65 To: "Dick Simpson 723-3525" X-Mailer: QuickMail Pro 1.5.4 (Mac) X-Priority: 3 Reply-To: Trish Priest MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-Ascii" Content-Length: 721 Status: RO Reply to: RE: 2000/111 at DSS 65 5000i failed due to a SPA-R initialization error.
