We had previously arranged with GLL to switch the DSP at 12:45 UTC. This means that 5182i (126/11:13) was a planned loss. Unfortunately, the DSP was not switched to the MGS link until a few minutes ago. Therefore, we also lost 5183i (126/13:11) and 5184i (126/15:08). The sharing had been going quite well until this morning. That was the only shared pass this week. There are two next week and about 5 during the week of 5/15 (after bistatic is complete). I recorded 10 minutes of data in the bistatic configuration (DSP was in the configuration, DSS 65 was not). XRCP and XLCP channels were recorded simultaneously at 50,000 sps, 8-bits. This is noise only for filter characterization. I recorded the data to tape, then retransmitted 5 minutes of data. This allows us to set the retransmit data rate, and the buffers seem to do okay. It takes a very long time, though. For 5 minutes of data, it took more than 52 minutes to retransmit. I actually had to stop the retransmission in order to do the last ingress measurement. Data did make it to the TDS, however. Query for DSS 65 data between 126/17:50 and 17:55. I have also spoken with the NOPEs.
