It was DSS 25 EOT was 18:45:00 I setup the end recording time to be 18:50, so maybe the station did something when they saw that the DSP was running beyond EOT. Cause is unknown. I'm still looking into this. It's not clear what the cause was. The script ran, the DSP went into recording, and here were no SPAR initialization failure messages. There were two other messages that I'm trying to figure out. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From aseel@godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov Fri Jul 21 15:29 PDT 2000 Received: from godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.120]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id PAA13607 for ; Fri, 21 Jul 2000 15:29:08 -0700 (PDT) Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id PAA22627 for ; Fri, 21 Jul 2000 15:30:52 -0700 (PDT) Message-Id: <200007212230.PAA22627@godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov> Date: Fri, 21 Jul 2000 15:30:52 -0700 (PDT) From: Aseel Anabtawi Reply-To: Aseel Anabtawi Subject: Re: 2000/203 at DSS 65 To: rsimpson@magellan.stanford.edu MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-MD5: S9Kija+Iof30UdmQ4zeCgw== X-Mailer: dtmail 1.2.1 CDE Version 1.2.1 SunOS 5.6 sun4u sparc Content-Type: TEXT/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Length: 970 Status: R OK .. figured it out. I actually requested the station to put the DSP in the link to try to look for the data and retransmit it. While I was trying to retransmit, I noticed that when the pass was scripted, the last two measurements had the same script file name and the same begin and end record times. However, one of them ran two hours before the other. So what happened was that the first one started running, but the record time was not reached until two hours later. During that time, the second one started running, but since the DSP was already in run mode, some changes were not allowed. In short, the 6124i measurement was not scripted, and the 6125i measurement was scripted twice with one of the scripts beginning to run two hours before the measurement.
