OK .. We now check the scripts before the beginning of the pass to make sure things are correct. And that checked OK. When the script ran, it had the wrong begin and end times. The DSP ran but it did not go into record. I did not realize that until I noticed that the DSP was still running 5 minutes after the end of measurement. The thing about the radsci60 log is that lately we've been getting warning messages every few seconds. We ignore the messages, but they make it harder to see the "Start time reached" message which tells us that the DSP has started recording. Now about the script check showing correct begin and end times, but having wrong times when it ran: We got a similar thing a while ago over SPC-40. I'll have to check with the person who scripted the pass, but I believe that originally there were errors in the begin and end times, and then the script file was edited to reflect the correct times. Edits other than start and end times are OK, but when there is an error with the times, the script should be deleted and regenerated. To make a long story short, this would probably go under scripting error. I hope that you don't mind the long explanations at times. I like to explain in some detail to keep you updated. Besides, it's a way for me to document things. If you prefer shorter versions, I can definitely do that.
