This is due to the movement from ANS to ISH and movement of the solar arrays. About 35 minutes later, the spacecraft goes from ISH to ANS and moves the solar arrays back to the other configuration. This also affects the gravity measurement, and the spacecraft team is looking into alleviating the problem. The reorientation of the solar panels must be done for power reasons, but they may be able to change the slew rates (or some other parameter) in order to prevent this change from affecting Radio Science. Usually all commands in the SOE happen at the time in the SOE, so I will have to look into this further. Anyway, for ingresses, this means that we were using the MOT turn off time to end recording for ingress. The occultations are happening about a minute late compared to the SOE, so this means that we ended recording very close to or before ingress actually occurred -- for ingresses prior to 1295. Although most of those were bad due to the predicts -- one problem at a time. Also, the end record times shown in your last e-mail for DSS-54 1295i and 1296i are incorrect. I added some record time to the script (Joe's scripts are correct.) 1295i ended recording at 036/06:25:00 and 1296i ended at 036/08:23:00. 1293i was really the first ingress that we saw due to the predicts problem.
