I'm not sure why. We have been getting some errors at SPC 40 in the past few days; however, the data from DOY 179 SPC 40 are in the CDR. Hopefully, those errors are not relevent. They were present again last night. I came in and had the station reboot a few times. We finally just let the DSP go with the error messages. The SSI looked okay. I will discuss this with Sal today. (DSP 1 is red, so we couldn't just use the other one.) -Trish -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From rsimpson Tue Jun 29 17:42:27 1999 Received: (from rsimpson@localhost) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.8.5/8.8.3) id RAA01838; Tue, 29 Jun 1999 17:42:26 -0700 (PDT) Date: Tue, 29 Jun 1999 17:42:26 -0700 (PDT) From: Dick Simpson 723-3525 Message-Id: <199906300042.RAA01838@magellan.stanford.edu> To: rsimpson, trish@rodan.jpl.nasa.gov Subject: 1999/178 at DSS 34 Content-Length: 379 Trish: Per your comments earlier, the data from 1999/178 also suffer from the DSP errors that corrupted the 179 and 180 data. Characteristics of the data are very similar. On the other hand, the delayed data from 1999/176 look fine in 3 of the 4 cases. In the data beginning at 1999/176-10:45:00 there is a puzzling dropout just as the ingress occultation begins.
