It is fun to give everyone a warm fuzzy feeling when the DSN can't lock up. However, during this TES Test, the HGA will stop tracking for 3 minutes at certain points during the test. This means that the signal will disappear on us. We can do some more antenna pattern measurements. :-) I'm not sure what we will get, but better to record and later find out that there is nothing interesting. I will be reviewing the mini-sequence later. Hopefully, the test will be at reasonable hours. The test should be on July 9th. It might help our case for fixed-HGA if TES has a problem with HGA motion. Although this test will probably be after the MCR decision. -Trish Dick Simpson 723-3525 wrote: > >Just curious ... are we going to be collecting data during these >tests? I realized that I had overlooked an acquire 2-way statement. Most of this record period will have no signal because the spacecraft went 2-way as usual. -Trish Dick Simpson 723-3525 wrote: > >>Orbit: 1502e >>SOE: mm005c.07.tsoe >>Begin Record: 190/18:24:00 >>End Record: 190/19:37:00 >>Last Attenuation Change: >>SNT: >>Elevation Angle: > > Our data stopped at 18:51:32.
