Do you agree that data collection for grazing occultations will be as follows: (a) For the first week, we will collect as much grazing data as possible during all one-way passes. At least two orbits per day will be one-way even if there is no downlink-only DSN pass (As per our MCR, the uplink will be suppressed.). (b) After the first week, we will collect data for all scheduled downlink-only passes until grazing occultations end. (All but one of these occur before August 3rd.) Correct? Somewhere in the last few weeks I began to think that we were going to continue collecting ALL possible data through the end of August. Data collected during two-way passes really have no baseline. Am I forgetting something? Sorry to bother you because of my memory lapse. Thanks. -Trish (aka The Energizer Bunny -- keeps scripting and scripting...without thinking.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From trish@godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov Tue Jul 13 14:49:46 1999 Received: from godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.120]) by magellan.stanford.edu (8.8.5/8.8.3) with ESMTP id OAA06045 for ; Tue, 13 Jul 1999 14:49:45 -0700 (PDT) Received: from rodan.jpl.nasa.gov (rodan.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.110]) by godzilla.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id OAA18488 for ; Tue, 13 Jul 1999 14:49:00 -0700 (PDT) Received: from 137.78.177.117 (trish-mac.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.177.117]) by rodan.jpl.nasa.gov (8.9.3/8.9.3) with SMTP id OAA23786 for ; Tue, 13 Jul 1999 14:49:00 -0700 (PDT) Message-Id: <199907132149.OAA23786@rodan.jpl.nasa.gov> Date: 13 Jul 99 14:55:31 -0700 From: Trish Priest Subject: The End is Near To: Richard Simpson X-Mailer: QuickMail Pro 1.5.4 (Mac) X-Priority: 3 Reply-To: Trish Priest MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-Ascii" Content-Length: 221 Hello, Dick, The end of this occultation season, that is.
