I've received info from Joe Beerer regarding MGS operations during upcoming MOC imaging of MPL landing zone. In brief, MGS will remain in CSA Backup Mode during imaging timeframe. As you may recall, selected orbits during this timeframe will contain +/- 30 deg NADIR offpoint slews. The plan is to place MGS into CSA Backup Mode on DOY-350/13:28 SCET and transition from CSA Backup to MHSA Control Mode on DOY-358/22:00. The transition to MHSA control should be complete by DOY-359/00:00. The PEFs for observation minisequences may be available on the FIS as early as tomorrow (I don't yet know thier sequence numbers). CSA Backup operation is known to affect TES activities since EQX Broadcaset Signals are not sent to Payload in CSA Backup Mode. Once Jennifer finishes the next version of remote ops, I should be beeped if the predicts are not loaded. The DSS 15 pass has gotten off to a good start. There is a nice, long DSS 45 pass later today.
