The data were collected using the 100 Hz filter, with sampling at 5000 samples/sec. The previous data from SPC 40 had been collected using DSS 34. Elias Barbinis requested that the IF switch be cycled, and the data from the next occultation were normal. This type of anomaly has happened before, but it is rare. Data from occultation 8490i (DSS 45, start time 2001/030-18:47:00) have POCA errors for about 10 seconds starting at 18:48:28. This is not expected to compromise the science value of the data. Data from occultations 8500i-8502i (DSS 25, start times 2001/031- 14:24:00 through 18:20:00) have been queried but not located. The same problem affected the last three occultations from DSS 45 earlier. We will continue to query, and plan to report the results tomorrow.
