PDS_VERSION_ID = PDS3 RECORD_TYPE = STREAM OBJECT = TEXT PUBLICATION_DATE = 2001-02-01 NOTE = "MGS RST Instrument Health Report HEA1032A.TXT" END_OBJECT = TEXT END Miscellaneous ============= For the second day in a row we have not been able to connect to the JPL firewall (thorn.jpl.nasa.gov). We have asked Jesse Glance and Chris Leng if they have information. We are unable to download files from the FIS while this condition persists. We have begun modifying software to label Extended Mission data properly for archiving. The changes are small, but there are many. A new data set will be defined for raw data from the Extended Mission (MGS-M-RSS-1-EXT-V1.0); it will start with volume MORS_0601. The last volume from Mapping is expected to be MORS_0584 (data set MGS-M-RSS-1-MAP-V1.0). There were no spurs on data from occultation 8510i, also collected at DSS 65. Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- We have obtained the following files from OSCAR and EPIC: Original File Name Name on SOPC -------------------------------- ------------ ODF: 01030O031_10S.SJO;1 1030031A.ODF ODF: 01031O032_10S.SJO;1 1031032A.ODF Sami Asmar provided the following regarding MGS ranging, which resumes today (2001/032): This OPD is affective on DOY 032 starting with Dss65 pass @0140Z. Starting on DOY 032 the project has decided to resume ranging on Spacecraft. The following parameters are to be used until the MDA Tables can be updated. A. Current T-1, T-2, and T-3 Ranging parameter values are to be ignored in the NOP, and MDA Table for all MGS Supports. In place and until further notice use below values for all Ranging Activities until the MDA tables are updated. These new values are incorporated in the SOE. For HEF and BWG Stations: Components: 4, 11 T-1 80 sec T-2 10 sec T-3 0 sec Cycle time: 160 sec.
