Open-Loop Data ============== Analysis -------- Joe Twicken has complete analysis of about an hour of open-loop 1-way data collected with the HGA on 97/299. His report, slightly edited, follows. A postscript file with the USO frequency history is included here as Figure HEA73003A.PS1. I processed the ODR with the HGA transmission that was recorded on 97/299. The data quality was actually very good. There were small carrier amplitude fluctuations with a magnitude of approximately 0.4 dB peak-peak and a period of approximately 9 minutes. I used the 7297314A.SPK SP-kernel to steer the data (spk_i_971024_OD028_038_V1). My USO frequency estimate for the test is 8423152974.22 Hz. The USO carrier frequency continues to increase at a rate of approximately 0.175 Hz/day.
