This is a result of our schedule, in which we begin queries for the most recent UTC day shortly after the change of day, combined with the fact that some engineering data are played back from the spacecraft on a delayed basis (because DSN coverage is no longer continuous). When delayed data have not been received by the conclusion of our query, we have been missing them. We have obtained more than enough data to monitor general instrument health but not necessarily enough to allow for calibrations -- such as USO temperature during one-way gravity passes. Since 98/155, when we began the current series of north polar gravity data collection, we have typically been collecting one-third to one-half of the total engineering data. We are in the process of issuing NEW queries for engineering data since 98/145, the earliest date for which such data remain on line. When that task has been completed, we will assess the need to obtain data from earlier passes. It may be that what we have in hand is adequate, but that needs to be checked.
