A nominal 1 Hz equivalent SNR of 50.3 dB is consistent with the data for all test intervals. That corresponds to a system temperature of 33.9K (assuming -133 dBm injection). The measured value at the station was 27.1K, which would have been consistent with SNR = 51.3 dB. The 1 dB difference between measured and predicted SNR could be due (in part) to ripple in the 2 kHz filter passband. The repeatability of the SNR values and the fact the current discrepancy is well below the 3-6 dB found earlier from spacecraft observations suggests again (with the results of tests from 1998/191) that the SPC 60 3-6 dB problem is no longer present.
