When the script executed, the new predict set was rejected; however, yesterday's predicts were in the DSP, so the equipment went into run with the old predict set. We didn't have time to diagnose the problem and fix it before the spacecraft went into occultation. We will monitor the loading of predicts more closely in the future. We will also determine a method of dealing with this situation for unattended operations. -Trish ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From Paula.M.Eshe@jpl.nasa.gov Wed Feb 11 12:53:11 1998 Received: from eis-msg-012.jpl.nasa.gov (eis-msg-012.jpl.nasa.gov [137.78.18.32]) by magellan.Stanford.EDU (8.8.5/8.8.3) with ESMTP id MAA17747 for ; Wed, 11 Feb 1998 12:53:10 -0800 (PST) Received: from jpl-mhs.jpl.nasa.gov by eis-msg-012.jpl.nasa.gov (X.400 to RFC822 Gateway); Wed, 11 Feb 1998 12:53:07 -0800 X400-Received: by mta Proteus in /c=us/admd=telemail/prmd=nasa/; Relayed; 11 Feb 1998 12:52:50 -0800 X400-Received: by /c=us/admd=telemail/prmd=nasa/; Relayed; 11 Feb 1998 12:52:50 -0800 X400-MTS-Identifier: [/c=us/admd=telemail/prmd=nasa/; 01D5B34E20FA25B8-Proteus] Content-Identifier: 01D5B34E20FA25B8 Content-Return: Allowed X400-Content-Type: P2-1988 ( 22 ) Conversion: Allowed Original-Encoded-Information-Types: IA5-Text Priority: normal Disclose-Recipients: Prohibited Alternate-Recipient: Allowed X400-Originator: Paula.M.Eshe@jpl.nasa.gov X400-Recipients: non-disclosure; Message-Id: <01D5B34E20FA25B8*/c=us/admd=telemail/prmd=nasa/o=jpl/ou=ccmail/s=Eshe/g=Paula/i=M/@MHS> Date: 11 Feb 1998 12:52:50 -0800 From: Paula M Eshe To: hinson@nimbus.Stanford.EDU (IPM Return requested), rsimpson@magellan.stanford.edu (IPM Return requested), joe@neptune.Stanford.EDU (IPM Return requested), len@nova.Stanford.EDU (IPM Return requested), Salvatore F Abbate (IPM Return requested), Sami W Asmar (IPM Return requested), Jennifer L Caetta (IPM Return requested), Patricia Priest (IPM Return requested) Subject: Occultation #23 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Length: 362 Status: RO Hello Everything went well at DSS 15 for occultation #23. There was a 100 microhertz mismatch in the POCA. I modified the *rate* at time tag 70189 from 0.8731 Hz/sec to 0.8732 Hz/sec. This change was only applied for one second because the rate changed again at 70190. The correct POCA file name in this directory has suffix 15XRXIR2R301 That is not the usual case. The change was at 19:29:49 and the surface occultation was expected at 19:37:19. It should not effect the occultation at all. Joe >80421926.ODR p 15XRXIR2R301 15XRXIC1XX01 15XR1IF1S101 15XR1IS1T101 >
