The magnitude of the sawtooth in the residuals of occultation #39 was approximately 1.3 Hz. For this occultation, there appears to be a discrepancy of *approximately* 2.2 seconds between the time tags for the data and the time tags for the POCA. The magnitude of the sawtooth was reduced by a factor of 25 to 50 mHz when I modified our PREPMO program to *subtract* 2.2 seconds from each of the reported data time tags and the data were then processed in our usual manner. Last time I looked at this in detail, I was pretty confident that the POCA tags were correct and it was the data time tags which needed to be adjusted. I don't know what progress is being made on tracking down this loss of data synchronization in the open-loop recording system, but so far we have lost approximately 10% of the occultations to this particular problem.
