We are also collecting some data from SPC 40 today. There was an almost 30 minute period of one-way at the beginning of the DSS 45 pass, so we collected those data. Telemetry was on, but maybe you can get a point for the USO stability curve. (It was also low elevation angle (~13 degrees)). The times for the TWO-WAY data from DSS 65 are below: 1. 5000 sps, 12-bit, filter 3, with signal 191-06:30:00 to 191-06:40:00 2. 5000 sps, 12-bit, filter 3, without signal (+5000 Hz FRO) 191-06:45:00 to 191-06:55:00 3. 200 sps, 12-bit, filter 1, without signal (+5000 Hz FRO) 191-07:00:00 to 191-07:10:00 4. 200 sps, 12-bit, filter 1, with signal 191-07:20:00 to 191-07:30:00 DSS 45 one-way data in the usual configuration (5000 sps, 12-bit, filter 3). 191-21:17:00 to 191-21:44:00 Last attenutation change at approximately 21:18:30. DSS 45 signal level test data (two-way): 1. 5000 sps, 12-bit, filter 3, with signal 191-23:10:00 to 191-23:20:00 2. 5000 sps, 12-bit, filter 3, without signal (+5000 Hz FRO) 191-23:22:00 to 191-23:32:00 3. 200 sps, 12-bit, filter 1, without signal (+5000 Hz FRO) 191-23:36:00 to 191-23:46:00 (atten. change at 23:37:35) 4. 200 sps, 12-bit, filter 1, with signal 191-23:50:00 to 192-00:00:00 (atten. change at 23:50:17) I have notes on the Pc/No as measured by the Block-V receiver. -Trish --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From joe@nova.Stanford.EDU Wed Jul 15 17:27:36 1998 Received: from nova.stanford.edu (nova.Stanford.EDU [36.10.0.123]) by magellan.Stanford.EDU (8.8.5/8.8.3) with ESMTP id RAA00814 for ; Wed, 15 Jul 1998 17:27:36 -0700 (PDT) Received: from neptune.Stanford.EDU (neptune.Stanford.EDU [36.10.0.149]) by nova.stanford.edu (8.8.8/8.8.4) with ESMTP id RAA28378 for ; Wed, 15 Jul 1998 17:27:35 -0700 (PDT) Received: (from joe@localhost) by neptune.Stanford.EDU (8.8.5/8.8.3) id RAA21541 for rsimpson@nova.stanford.edu; Wed, 15 Jul 1998 17:27:34 -0700 (PDT) Message-ID: X-Mailer: XFMail 1.2 [p0] on Solaris X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit MIME-Version: 1.0 Date: Wed, 15 Jul 1998 17:27:34 -0700 (PDT) Sender: joe@neptune.Stanford.EDU From: Joe Twicken To: rsimpson@nova.Stanford.EDU Subject: 81912119.ODR Content-Length: 294 Status: O Dick- I processed this ODR. I used the 8190205A.SPK file (spk_i_980709_OD417-418_446_V1) for steering. I don't believe that the trajectory is very good; the drift in the *steered* data is about 2 Hertz/25 minutes. Unless a better trajectory comes along, I won't hazard a USO estimate... Joe
